Carleton LeHah was awakened from surgery - it had been six months since the explosion in the oil refinery. Jean Paul and company moved into Kinsolving's former home (Wayne moved her and her attendants to Europe). Nightwing came in and trained with Azrael. LeHah once again became the embodiment of the Demon Biis. Azrael and Brian were attacked; Azrael was incapacitated and captured.

Batman arrived and snatched up the Az-Bat (who was actually the Azrael Jean Paul had fought at the Ice Castle). Batman spared him.
