Triton has tracked down Atlan, killing the ancient sorcerer for his part in the birth of Aquaman. While back in Poseidonis rebuilding their life's in the city following it's use as a weapon against the Milenium Giant as Tempest addresses the people to the coming of the election for High Councillor, Vulko then challenges Aquaman's right to do this as Tempest passes out sensing Atlan's fate. Meanwhile Aquaman oversees the rebuilding of Nuada's people, before reaching out to Garth through the The Clear who lets him know the threat is heading towards the city and he is on his way with what little aid he can find.  Triton then arrives bringing Timmorn's son to Nuliajuk to bring out the young monster's full potential which she readily does. While back in the city Vulko and Dardan continue their plan to get Koryak elected to the High Councillor against Garth who they feel would be little different then the king with Koryak offering the solution of something happening to Garth. Garth then arrives to find Koryak to prepare for the immanent attack, but are unable to be ready when Triton arrives. Tempest then heads out to meet Triton as the city's first line of defense,but is easily defeated. While in the ocean two fish find Atlan's body managing to get it inside of his magical bag,  with the last line's of defense proving ineffective. Fortunately Aquaman arrives riding a whale attacking the god while commanding the ship to move the city away. However it is prevented by Timmorn's newly mutated son attacking the city, killing the sentient entity which the city floats on.   Aquaman then enacts his plan as Triton talks Dolphin leaps from behind stealing his Triton, as he commands his army of sea creatures to attack.However Triton then reveals that it is merely a focal point before wiping out  Aquaman's army with Dolphin being attacked by the monster as the Triton returns to Triton. As the city sinks back to the ocean floor, Aquaman calls for his fish army to regroup but...

Sentinel and The Flash have come into battle against gigantic monster with Sentinel preparing to kill the monster only to be attacked by Aquaman who wants to speak with the monster himself. He then refers to it by its name, Timmorn revealing he knew it as a boy before letting it go when it promises to never return to land again. Aquaman then delivers a chest full of gold to Sentinel to use to cover the damage, and gives Joan a ancient necklace as a sign of  respect for hers and Jay's fiftieth anniversary.  The next night the two couples go out for dinner with Alan voicing his distrust of Aquaman, with Jay and Joan defending the undersea hero. While Jay enjoys his anniversary Timmorn begins to return to the resort as Aquaman tends to some captured Dolphins. The Flash then becomes angry at the monster for once again ruining his anniversary attacking it until being swatted away, with Sentinel being forced to aid a man having a heart attack while Joan saves Jay by scooting a power line into the pool the monster stands in making it angrier.Aquaman then arrives and knocks the monster out,  with Sentinel alerting him to the death of a civilian with the intention of one of them killing the monster, Aquaman then takes it out to sea asking him why he decided terrorizing people was now a game with him just saying it suddenly came to him before Aquaman kills him by using his hook into his brain.  Triton then brings Timmorn's son to his father's body declaring Aquaman did it telling him he will show him how to gain his revenge

Aquaman #34 1994 Comics

The sea life have went to Poseidon to resume his duties as protector of the sea, as Aquaman has grown to frighten them with Poseidon agreeing to confront him with an unknown partner. Meanwhile Aquaman with Nemek is attempting to earn back favor with the sea by asking the sea to take him back only to be confronted by Poseidon who wonders about his desire to reacquire his title of protector of the seas, forcing him into combat with his son Triton who desires to take the position and avenge a previous humiliation. Triton then tells Aquaman the secret to killing him to in accordance with the ancient ways, with all being needed is to humiliate him in front of his subjects to kill him but it would not be a permanent death.  While Atlan questions his son's foolishness to capture what he used to be, meanwhile all the heroes of the oceans sense the battle being fought. Aquaman then defeats Triton, causing Poseidon to gift Aquaman with the power of a god which proves to much for him which he then takes back. As Aquaman is in a cave which slowly grows darker.

Aquaman and Dolphin meet with a man in a dark alley in long trench coats where Aquaman seeks his aid, but with him refusing. He then reveals his true form of The Martian Manhunter following a comment by Dolphin, but spurs him to agree to help on the condition he is not required to attack Japan directly.  Meanwhile in Japan Demon Gate and his brother meet with the prime minister of Japan who is scolding him for his carelessness of dragging them into his personal vendetta. Aquaman then reveals his need for the Manhunter, to help him retake the floating Poseidonis which proves very difficult when the city attacks them, but Manhunter eventually manages to break through the main gates.  Aquaman with the manhunter's aid then manages to gain dominion over the sentience in the ship. Meanwhile in the ocean Deep Blue leads the Sea Devils deep to the ocean's floor, where they find a dead dinosaur which has been there for less then a week. While Aquaman has moved Poseidonis over the streets of Tokyo calling for Demon Gate to be turned over to him. His brother then brings him to the roof where he disables his body leaving him for Aquaman who takes him back to Poseidonis placing him on trial. Aquaman then deems him guilty despite Dolphin and Nemek's urging that it isn't what Porm would want, with all the sea life telling him otherwise Aquaman commutes Demon Gate's sentence sentencing him to an island with no weapons, to be brought food by the local sea life daily.
